The best and top AdSense niches for highest CPC keywords, It’s not a secret that AdSense is one of the most popular and successful ways to generate site traffic and an even better way for monetizing it. However, there are many publishers who aren’t able to jump on this bandwagon because they don’t know how to find keywords with high CPC (cost per click!). This article will show you the steps necessary to find such keywords and make your earnings skyrocket!
First of all, what makes a keyword valuable? The simple answer is that “very valuable search queries have commercial intent.” The reason we say only that is because we want you to understand WHY Google targeted ads works so well – by displaying relevant ads according to what people were actually searching for.
To find keywords with high CPC, you’ll first have to look for them on the Google Keyword Planner tool. The best method is to use a combination of “Broad Match” and “Phrase Match” options.
You should be able to see it as soon as you take a look at the screenshots below:
Broad match will display broader search phrases that include your given word/keyword. For example, if we type in “home remedies” here, then this broad match will show results such as “natural home remedies” or “home remedy recipes”. You should choose this option because it tends to have more low competition yet highly searched queries. In other words – less competitive and less searched keywords.
Phrase match will display only those results that include the keyword seed we typed at the beginning and also contain all words we typed as its adjacent words. For example, if we type in “how to treat” here, then this phrase match will show results such as “what are some home remedies for treating poison ivy” or “How To Treat A Burn”. This option has more high competition yet highly searched queries compared to broad match, but it’s still worth using.
Both of these options allow you to search for exactly what you want and gain insight on how popular a certain term is and how much competition there is for ranking your site or an article about it so that you can see if the time you spend on it would be profitable to you or not.
After choosing a couple of filters, head over to the Keyword Planner tool, type in your query and click “Generate”. Make sure you add “Phrase Match” once again because this will show only those keywords that people tend to use while searching for something particular.
In our example, we chose “home remedies” as our seed keyword. Google suggests us a number of results with average monthly searches and CPC value:
As you can see from the screenshots above, there are quite a lot of opportunities here. We have around 30 thousand monthly searches for just one term! That means that if we manage to get the top spot on Google for this term, we’ll be able to generate awesome results. However, competition is high and you’ll have to work hard to outrank other websites that are already trying their best to do so.
One thing worth mentioning is that after choosing your seed keyword, make sure you also type in how much monthly searches do you expect your site to get because this will help you generate more accurate results. For example, if your site is just starting out and has little to no authority yet, then it’s probably not worth targeting keywords that have around 1 million or more monthly searches since at the moment you won’t be able to compete with others.
